Nana Aba Anamoah sacked from GHOne

Here is the unverified reports surrounding Nana Aba Anamoah’s status at GHOne TV and her recent role as EIB Network’s Director of Business Development

Unverified information circulating on X, formerly known as Twitter, suggests that media personality Nana Aba Anamoah is allegedly no longer associated with GHOne TV of EIB Network. A user with the handle @Oh_Menua claimed in a post on December 21 that Nana Aba has been sacked, citing her removal as the general manager of GHOne TV as a precursor to her exit.

The Independent Ghana attempted to verify this information by checking GHOne’s social media handles, but there is no official confirmation or report on the alleged termination.

This development follows Nana Aba Anamoah’s recent promotion to the position of Director of Business Development at EIB Network, as announced in a press statement on October 26, 2023. The statement also introduced Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong as the new General Manager for the English Cluster.

Nana Aba Anamoah, who rejoined the media scene in 2016 through GhOne TV’s ‘State of Affairs’ show, has had a multifaceted career, transitioning from hosting the sports show ‘Cheers’ to news anchoring. Her journey led to her appointment as news editor and, subsequently, General Manager after leaving her previous employer, TV3.
