KNUST 58th Congregation 2024: Dates, Schedule, and Registration Details

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has officially announced the dates and schedule for its 58th Congregation in 2024. This prestigious event will honor the graduating class of 2024 and is set to take place from Wednesday, 20th November to Saturday, 30th November 2024. Graduands who completed their studies in August 2024 are required to follow specific registration and rehearsal procedures to participate in the ceremony.


Registration and Graduation Fee

Graduands are expected to pay a graduation fee of GhȻ 450.00 at designated banks across Ghana, including Absa Bank, Cal Bank, CBG, Ecobank, Fidelity Bank Ghana, GCB Bank, GT Bank, Republic Bank, Stanbic Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, UBA, and Zenith Bank. This fee covers:

  • Congregation publications
  • Graduation medal
  • Certificate holder
  • University souvenirs
  • Graduation photographs
  • Administrative costs

Graduands must provide the following details at the bank:

  1. Name
  2. Programme of Study
  3. Examination Index Number
  4. Student ID Number
  5. Contact Address
  6. Telephone Number
  7. Email Address

Rehearsal Schedule

To ensure a smooth ceremony, rehearsals will be held at the Great Hall, KNUST, according to the following schedule:

Sunday, 24th November, 5:00 pm For those attending on Monday, 25th November

Tuesday, 26th November, 5:00 pm For those attending on Wednesday, 27th November
Wednesday, 27th November, 5:00 pm For those attending on Thursday, 28th November

Graduands are required to arrive 30 minutes before the start of each program, dressed in their academic gowns and appropriate formal attire.
