This announcement covers a total of 6,015 qualified nurses and midwives who are now set to be placed in their preferred regions. According to the GHS, nurses and midwives who completed the application process are required to report to their chosen regional health offices with the necessary documentation. Each cadre of healthcare professional has a specific reporting date for placement. Here’s the full schedule:

  • Enrolled Nurses:
    • Date: Monday, 18th November 2024 – Tuesday, 19th November 2024
  • Community Health Nurses, Registered Community Health Nurses, and Public Health Nurses:
    • Date: Wednesday, 20th November 2024
  • Registered General Nurses and Midwives:
    • Date: Thursday, 21st November 2024
  • Nursing and Midwifery Officers:
    • Date: Friday, 22nd November 2024

These healthcare professionals are advised to bring their certificates along with their AIN/PIN from the Nursing and Midwifery Council to facilitate the placement process.
