The much-anticipated 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) timetable for Ghana is now available. Students can download the complete timetable read below.

Exam Dates and Details

The exams are scheduled to start on August 5, 2024, and conclude on September 20, 2024. This marks the third consecutive year that the WASSCE is exclusively for Ghanaian students.

Day One Practical Exams

The first day will feature the following practical exams:

  • Basketry 3 (Project Work)
  • Ceramics 3 (Project Work)
  • Graphic Design 3 (Project Work)
  • Jewellery 3 (Project Work)
  • Leatherwork 3 (Project Work)
  • Picture Making 3 (Project Work)
  • Sculpture 3 (Project Work)
  • Textiles 3 (Project Work)

Additional Important Dates

On Monday, August 12, 2024, the Foods and Nutrition 3 (Practical) Planning Session will take place from 15:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs.

Key Instructions from WAEC

  1. Timing Differences: If there is a discrepancy between the time indicated on the question paper and the timetable, follow the time on the question paper.
  2. Advance Question Papers:
    • General Knowledge-In-Art Paper 3: Candidates will receive the question paper two weeks before the exam date.
    • Project Work Papers: Question papers for Basketry, Graphic Design, Leatherwork, Ceramics, Sculpture, Picture Making, Textiles, and Jewellery will be distributed two weeks in advance. Schools will communicate the exact date of delivery.
  3. Extra Time for Special Needs Candidates: Visually impaired and hearing impaired candidates will be granted one and a half times the allotted time for other candidates.
