We are seeking a skilled Technical Operator to oversee and maintain assigned machinery, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for machine operation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting, working closely with the production and maintenance teams to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Start and stop assigned production machinery as per schedule.
• Apply lubrication and operate machinery efficiently.
• Monitor machine performance, detect anomalies, and report any issues regarding sound, speed, and functionality.
• Review downtime reports from the previous shift and address any concerns.
• Assist with plant conversions and installations.
• Ensure that all products are inspected and approved by the Quality Assurance Department before production begins.
• Prepare and submit production and maintenance reports to the Maintenance and Production Managers.
• Conduct thorough maintenance of machinery as needed to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Certification in mechanical and electrical safety.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
