Bernard Afrifa
• The successful candidate will join as a Manager for Mobile, VAS Products and Presales in the AT Business Department. • (S)He will report to the Director, Products and Commercial Marketing. The individual will ensure the maximization of the enterprise business’ revenue bucket through strong competence in product development, life cycle management, performance analysis, project management, and presales support. • The role includes reviewing, developing, and managing in-life solutions to ensure a complete solutions portfolio. Additionally, the individual will provide competitive insights to support strategic planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management
• Develop and propose new AT Business services based on market data and competitive analysis. • Manage new product development, meeting cost and quality targets. • Oversee in-life products and services with financial performance analysis. • Plan and manage product withdrawals, ensuring alternative solutions and smooth customer migration. • Collaborate with Finance to establish competitive pricing that meets margin requirements. • Coordinate marketing communications for effective product messaging.
Presales Support
• Provide technical expertise and support to sales teams during the presales process. • Develop an understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities. • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions. • Develop sales collateral including data sheets, presentations, and case studies. • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and revenue growth tactics.
Sales Support
• Assist sales teams in proposal development, presentations, and deal closures. • Ensure deployed solutions align with customer requirements. • Support in resolving customer issues and ensuring quality service delivery.
Key KPIs
• Total revenue target • Base revenue management • Acquisition target achievement • Customer satisfaction • Presales support metrics (e.g., RFP response rate, customer engagement)
Required Qualification and Experience
• University degree in Computer Science, Telecom, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial & pricing propositions (Essential) within the telecom industry. • Experience in telecoms/IT managed services is an advantage. • Proven experience in customer-facing roles. • Experience in a rapidly changing environment, such as corporate reorganization or start-ups. • Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, Macros) skills are essential.
