In collaboration with UNDP, UNFPA is spearheading a transformative peace-building project titled “Enhancing Social Cohesion and Social Contract through Empowerment of Women and Youth” in three northern regions of Ghana. This initiative aims to address the root causes of conflict-related gender-based violence and promote youth participation in local governance, ultimately fostering social cohesion and preventing conflicts and extremism in Northern Ghana.

Job Overview:

The role of Project Officer – Monitoring and Reporting is pivotal in ensuring the effective implementation and monitoring of the Peace Building Fund (PBF) Project in Ghana. Qualifications and Requirements:

Candidates should possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, along with a Master’s degree in Social Sciences or related fields. Proficiency in project management, monitoring and evaluation, governance, gender, and youth development is essential. Moreover, candidates must demonstrate expertise in peacebuilding, research, and data analysis, with prior experience in international organizations being advantageous.
