The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, congratulated all teachers who participated in the examination and celebrated those who passed. He emphasized that the promotion exam is a significant step toward improving the quality of teaching and learning in Ghanaian schools.

“I am confident that this professional advancement will enhance the quality of teaching and learning in our schools,” said Dr. Adutwum.

Pending Postings

Despite the release of the promotion results, some teachers who applied for posting have raised concerns regarding their status. A number of them remain under “Pending for Consideration” and are awaiting updates.

Teacher Feedback:

  • “What about those of us who still have our status as ‘pending for consideration’? When should we expect the appointment letters?”
  • “We the ‘Pending for Consideration Association’ (PCA) are still waiting.”

The GES is yet to respond to these queries, leaving many teachers anxious about their postings.
