Wendy Shay explains why she mirrored Ebony in her recent photo
Wendy Shay, known in private life as Wendy Addo has revealed in a recent post why she copied Ebony’s style of dressing.
Not long ago, Wendy Shay shared a post on her Instagram page that received massive mixed reactions from people. In the photo she shared, her hairstyle and dressing made her look exactly like the late Ebony Reigns. As some people praised and appreciated her, others seriously lashed her back for trying to copy the late songstress.
Well, Wendy Shay has come out with why she decided to copy Ebony in her recent photoshoot.
In a new post on Instagram, the Rufftown records signee posted an image of Ebony Reigns with a touching caption.
“Dear Ebony, yesterday you trended in GH for the 1st time in a long while.
Just because I posted a Pic, they said I look like you and I am copying you. They have no idea why that look.Two singles from you were released after your untimely demise but no one pushed or gave attention to these amazing songs. Ebony x Wendy Shay on one song what do you guys think?”, she wrote.
She added that two singles produced by Ebony were releasedafter her unfortunate passing that but no one promoted it.
Wendy Addo also hinted that she would be released a song with Ebony featured on it. The afrobeat singer then urged the public to use the same energy they use to circulate her picture to push the song. “Ebony lives on” she concluded.
Wendy Shay, got introduced to the Rufftown Record Label in 2018 after the death of the talented singer, Ebony.
Before getting introduced to become a renown musician, Wendy Shay practiced midwifery in the clinical field.
She was a trained nurse by profession and relocated to Ghana to do music.
