We’ve got you covered on all 10 teams ahead of the new season.

There remains an aura and element of predictability about the Mastermind Campus Super Liga, but a number of factors indicate that maybe it won’t be such a straightforward season after all.

The Mastermind Campus Super Liga, whose new season begins on Saturday, will probably have its title won by one of two sides. The familiar four teams will probably battle for the League trophy but we think the battle is between two teams this season. The other sides are also expected to make things difficult for the Top 4 ( Bamahu SC, Tamale FC, Rocarli & Jubilee). Mastermind Campus Super Liga is a clearly stratified division.

BAMAHU SOCCER CLUB

Bamahu SC had been busy in the market this harmattan making some good signings so far. Bringing in Kaka from the relegated Westsiders could ease the burden on Mbappe for goals, he represents a modest outlay. Bamahu SC’s squad is still strong enough that it doesn’t need immediate rejuvenation, but it will soon and, after a couple of seasons of stability, staleness is always a potential concern. Given the compression of the season, it’s hard to believe any side will be able to maintain the consistency for another season of winning the league with games in hand. Tamale FC is likely to close the gap on Bamahu SC; the question is whether it can close it enough to claim the title.

TAMALE FOOTBALL CLUB

The most likely threat to Bamahu SC’s crown is Tamale FC, Tamale FC’s problems last season were in the two boxes, as Mohammed Yezid would put it. All 4 of its league defeats were to an extent the result of simple balls in behind or over the top. In part that is an issue of personnel, and while the acquisition of Lateef from Upper west will help, the bigger problem is a lack of pressure on the ball at the defense. They have 2W of their 2 preseason games thought they were made to fight for all 3 points last weekend against Arch Rivals Taking over. Moving Earlan back into midfield should help to a degree, but he still needs to settle in. Arrival of new Manager Salim could also help a great deal with the development of youngsters like Vardy.

ROCARLI FOOTBALL CLUB

Managerial doubts surrounding Rocarli, whotakes charge? Will Faisal (Payday) captain the Warriors this season? Rumors has it that, club legend Dasana is closer to moving to Tamale FC. Dasana is a 2x winner of the Mastermind Campus Super Liga title and 1x Mastermind Campus Super Liga top scorer. Rocarli this season has been quite in the window and makes us believe their effort in the league will also be quite. The team is facing a crisis now which they need to solve if they want to survive the season in the Top 4.

JUBILEE FOOTBALL CLUB

Jubilee FC finished well last season, after a miserable start. They still have their core players intact with Awal Lucio and Yakubu Cole coming into the season with serious form. They have also made their on-loan Keeper Accuracy a permanent member of the Squad this season with the Number impressing at Home of Football during the past 8months. Jubilee FC has always been a resilient side every season and we think this season wouldn’t be any different.

TAKING OVER FOOTBALL CLUB

Taking Over FC perhaps, after a harmattan full of spending, can challenge as well. Certainly from an attacking point of view, this should be an exciting season. Taking Over FC’s main faults last season were not at the defense, but rather it was the attack. But the arrival of some new talents like the newly arrived Tia Lorscatic from Tamale FC who will add more quality to their play and the rejuvenated Anelka and Gaddafi can lead Taking Over FC to something historic.

CLASSIC XI

At the stage of rebuilding, Classic XI under the care of Shabba has some serious work to do. They’ve lost key members every season and have since failed to replace them. Peter in 2019 and Kelvin, James and franklin last year. Bright talents such Arafat and Evra are still bonded with their hood club and will be expected to step up. Club legend kelvin wants to return on loan to help the club for the half season.

PREDATORS FOOTBALL CLUB

This season will be very crucial for this team to make their mark in the league. Last season was their debut league so we sure didn’t expect much from them but this season the case is different. Many pundits on campus tip Predators for Top 4. Its not entirely a bad prediction because they’ve also been busy lately in the market bring in Aba from Taking over to help FK in a double pivot role as per what Nasim thinks. Predators play good football with tactical mindfulness but they’ve not been able to channel the possession to goals.

TALONS CLUB DE FUTBOL

This is one of the new boys in the league this season. They have signed a few experienced players from the league and will also be looking forward to making their mark. With the likes of Maleek and other stars Talons might be the surprise package of the league this season. They also add a derby sauce to the league with them sharing turf with Rocarli and Jubilee.

ALPHA FOOTBALL CLUB

Also one of the new comers in the league but have not managed to win a single game during preseason. They took the lead against Tamale FC earlier in the match and at 90mins they lost 2-5. The following week breeded similar result. Alpha is a team serious ambitions with the alleged Acquisition of decorated midfielder Bash from Bamahu SC and James from Classic XI. They seem exciting but they have to fasten their seatbelts else they will only be exciting on paper.

LEGACY FC

Legacy FC is one of 3 of the new teams and will also be willing to put up a fight. They have a good team on paper but we’ve hardly seen them play so we cant tell how they’ve been setup. We just hope they put in a good fight and not dash points to their opponents.
