Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Gulu University TAGDev 2.0 Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be citizens of Uganda or East African Community (EAC) nations (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan).
  • Be economically disadvantaged, from marginalized groups, or from conflict/post-conflict regions.
  • Be under 30 years old (for undergraduate applicants) or under 35 years old (for master’s applicants) at the time of application.
  • Have completed secondary school or a diploma for undergraduate programs within the past two years (or four years for refugees and IDPs).
  • Meet the academic entry requirements for their chosen degree program at Gulu University.
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for agriculture, agribusiness, and entrepreneurship.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities and a commitment to community development.
  • Not be a current scholarship recipient.
  • Previous TAGDev Scholarship beneficiaries are ineligible.
