Programs Offered

The YES China Program at Zhejiang University provides three English-taught master’s degree programs:

1. Master’s in Energy and Power Engineering (2 years, “1+1” Format)

What Does the ‘1+1’ Mode Refer To?

This collaborative program involves:

• First Year: Academic coursework, research, and thesis development at Zhejiang University.
• Second Year: Thesis writing in the student’s home country, drawing from professional experience, concluding with a final thesis defense.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be a non-Chinese national, under 45 years old, in excellent physical and mental condition.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher with at least three years of professional experience.
• Belong to one of the following categories:
  • High-ranking government officials (division chief rank or above)
  • Upper management personnel of organizations or companies
