Starfoods Company Limited is looking for a skilled IT Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining our computer systems and networks, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the security of our data. This role combines strong technical skills with excellent communication to provide support to our staff.

Maintain and Troubleshoot IT Systems

Maintain computer systems and software for optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with computers, software, and networks.
Test and evaluate new hardware and software for compatibility and suitability.

Safeguard Company Data

Implement security measures to protect our systems from viruses and unauthorized access.
Manage the organization’s database and ensure regular data backups.

Support Staff and Stay Current

Assist users with computer-related issues and provide guidance on software and hardware usage.
Offer training to employees on effective use of computer systems and software.
Stay up-to-date on advancements in IT and recommend necessary upgrades or changes.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in IT support or administration.
Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work.
