Prof. Ransford Gyampo, a Political Science lecturer at the University of Ghana has begun a conversation on social media. Prof. Gyampo has begun questioning who will represent the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Since the 2020 elections will certainly end in court ruling. He is asking if the out-star lawyer Philip Addison will lead the legal team of the NPP following bad treatment after 2013.
The New Patriotic Party and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo were represented by lawyer Philip Addison during the 2013 election petition.
However, the New Patriotic Party has not been supportive to Mr Addison’s aspiration. Philip Addison is aspiring to become a parliamentarian and this vision has not received full support from his party. A lot of people are of the opinion that Lawyer Addison has not had the best of treatment from the NPP.
The University of Ghana Political Science Lecturer, Prof. Gyampo in a Facebook post could not think of who will represent the NPP. As the National Democratic Congress is goig to court.
To Prof. Gyampo, Philip Addison is the best man to represent the NPP. Mr Addison represented Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2013. Considering lawyer Addison’s experience and the work he did in 2013, he is the best shot for NPP.
Prof. Gyampo asked if the fierce and competent Philip Addison will represent the NPP this time. After his fantastic service to the NPP in 2013 election petition. Prof. Gyampo praised the lawyer for his understanding of the law. Mr Addison’s probing questions were both incredible and interesting.
This is what Prof. Gyampo said “I have seen the galaxy of NDC legal brains heading to the Supreme Court over the 2020 elections.
He asked that will the fierce and competent Philip Addison be there for the NPP this time?
