Elder Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the national chairman for the opposition party NDC has said they will not succumb to intimidation. He said no amount of intimidation will stop them to fight for what is theirs.
He believes the New Patriotic Party has snatched seats and nothing will stop them from doing just that.
The national chairman said “No amount of intimidations will stop us will claim all our parliamentary seats back and nothing will stop us we will use every legitimate means to make sure the will of the people is protected”.
The NPP is now targeting their MPs-elect of the NDC and them with some even facing death threats, he added.
The National chairman said the New Patriotic Party is targeting their elected MPs. there were a number of attacks. one on member of parliament elect for Jomoro. the other on the MP for Keta. The said attack happened at Gambaga-Nalerigu.
Mr. Ofosu Ampofo says he is calling on the IGP and the national security council to provide security for MP’s.
Ofosu Ampofo indicated that NPP is doing its best to clear out NDC MP’s for a run-off.
Samuel Ofosu Ampofo is a Ghanaian politician and a former member of parliament. He has also become a district chief executive for the Fanteakwa North District. Mr Ampofo is also a former Eastern Regional minister and a former national organizer for the NDC.
Ampofo is also a former minister for local government and rural development. He is currently the national Chairman of the National Democratic Congress. the national chairman of the NDC is an engineer.
