National Service Scheme (NSS) Releases Postings for 2024/2025 Year: Key Steps for Personnel

The National Service Scheme (NSS) has officially released the postings for 106,223 graduates for the 2024/2025 service year. This announcement includes graduates from accredited Ghanaian universities, individuals who completed their studies abroad, defaulters, and private applicants. The postings were made public on September 6, 2024.

Mop-up Exercise for Unposted Personnel

In addition to the initial postings, the NSS will conduct a mop-up exercise to assign remaining personnel who are yet to be placed. The scheme has outlined a series of steps for deployed personnel to follow for registration and validation.

Registration and Validation Process

For smooth onboarding, personnel are required to follow these steps:

  1. Check Posting Details: All personnel can check their postings by visiting the NSS official website and logging into their account.
  2. Print and Endorse Appointment Letter: Once you’ve confirmed your posting, print the appointment letter and present it to your assigned service station for endorsement.
  3. Book Registration Appointment: After obtaining the necessary endorsement, schedule an online appointment for your registration date.
  4. Complete the Process at Regional Centres: Bring your endorsed appointment letter and a valid Ghana Card to the assigned regional validation centre to finalize your registration.

The registration process begins on September 12, 2024, and will conclude on September 30, 2024. All personnel are expected to complete this process before the service year officially begins on October 1, 2024.

Important Guidelines and Next Steps

The NSS has made it clear that reposting will not be entertained. Personnel are urged to accept their postings as part of their contribution to national development. The scheme also wishes all personnel a successful and rewarding service experience.

For more detailed instructions and information, personnel are advised to visit the NSS website.
