Exciting Job Opportunities with Youth Employment Agency (YEA)
The Youth Employment Agency (YEA), in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES), has announced new openings for various positions in basic and secondary schools across Ghana. This initiative seeks to recruit, train, and deploy individuals as School Guards, Kitchen Assistants, or Community Education Teaching Assistants (CETA).
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must be between 18-35 years old with at least a Senior High School education. Those applying for the Teaching Assistant position must hold a minimum of a Diploma from an accredited Ghanaian institution.
Employment Details:
Successful candidates will be engaged on a two-year contract and will become beneficiaries of the YEA program. Kitchen Assistants will be assigned to secondary schools with boarding facilities.
Application Requirements:
Prospective applicants need to prepare the following information:
- Full name
- Gender
- Date of birth
- Email address
- Ghana card PIN
- Scanned copy of the Ghana card (front and back)
- Residential address
- Mobile Money (MoMo) number
- Name and phone number of next of kin
- Preferred module (options include Community Education Teaching Assistants, Kitchen Assistants, Security Assistants, Youth in Agriculture, Youth in ICT)

Applications must be submitted online through apply.yea.gov.gh. Visit the site, click on the “registration” tab, fill in your details, and submit the form. The deadline for applications is August 5, 2024.
