KNUST Bursary: A Chance for Brilliant but Needy Students
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is offering a one-year bursary designed to support brilliant but financially disadvantaged students in their pursuit of higher education. Eligibility Criteria for the KNUST Bursary
To qualify for the KNUST Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Status: The bursary is available to regular, continuing Ghanaian students enrolled in full-time programs at KNUST.
- Academic Performance: Applicants must have a Cumulative Weighted Average (CWA) of 67 or higher.
- Financial Need: The bursary targets students who are in genuine need of financial assistance.
- Exclusions: Final-year students and those currently receiving other scholarships or bursaries exceeding GHȻ 1500.00 are ineligible. Additionally, students who have already applied for the SRC-KBN Bursary cannot apply.

- Admission letter
- Acceptance letter
- Results Slip, signed and officially stamped by the Exams Officer or Head of Department

How to Apply for the KNUST Bursary
Follow these steps to apply:
- Download the Application Form: Access the application form here.
- Prepare Your Documents: Ensure all documents are in a sealed envelope with your name, program, and phone number clearly written on it.
- Submit Your Application: Deliver the sealed envelope to the Students Affairs and Financial Services Office (Room 19) at the Dean of Students Office, J Harper Building. Applicants from the Obuasi Campus should submit their forms at the Registrar’s Office-Obuasi Campus.
- Formatting: Any written material should be typed using Times New Roman, size 12, and double-spaced.
- Deadline: Submit all applications by 5:00 pm on Friday, July 12, 2024. Late submissions will not be considered.
