Ghanaian musician, Kidi has been featured on BBC’s new episode of This is Africa “In The Bag”.
The “This is Africa In The Bag” show has been initiated by BBC in order to get into the lives of African artists in the quest to find out what they carry in their bags.
The show under discussion has featured prominent African musicians like, Mr Eazi, Teni, Joeboy and Victoria Kimani.
During Kidi’s interview, he toured his viewers through his bag.
He listed the items in his bag, one after the order and as well stated why he has them in his bag.
The first item he brought out of his bag was his Ghana National Service certificate. He explained that he has the certificate in his bag because it reminds him of the things he does not want to do.
Moving on to the second item, he removed an image of his little son. The self-acclaimed sugar daddy said the name of his son is Zane.
He outlined that, he keeps the picture of his son in his bag in order to always get reminded that he has someone who looks up to him.
Someone he is obliged to leave a legacy for. Third on the list was his face mask.
He mentioned that aside following the safety protocols, the mask reminds him that life is what happens when we are busy making plans.
The fourth item he displayed was a necklace. Kidi said the necklace was given to him by a friend who unfortunately died shortly after presenting him the gift.
He finally displayed the picture of his mother.
Kidi called his mother a superhero. He also stressed that his mother is bigger than the superheroes of Marvel and DC.
