Job Overview

Kasapreko is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to support the Quality Assurance Supervisor in conducting laboratory analysis and ensuring all raw materials and packaging materials meet required specifications. This role is critical in maintaining product quality standards throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

Uphold high standards of integrity, honesty, and due diligence in all QA tasks.
Calibrate and maintain records for analytical equipment.
Conduct analysis of incoming raw materials and document results.
Prepare and replenish reagents for QA laboratory activities.
Monitor in-process quality to ensure compliance with product specifications.
Track and report non-conforming materials and products.
Supervise equipment cleaning, sanitation, and Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) processes.
Conduct startup checks on packaging lines before production begins.
Ensure packaging integrity, including bottle condition, labeling, and date coding.
Collect, label, and maintain daily/batch product retention samples.
Monitor caustic concentration and temperature during CIP for effective cleaning.
Maintain and update quality parameter records as per standard testing procedures.
Supervise on-line inspectors and auxiliary workers on food safety concerns.
Promote hygiene and sanitation within the operational environment.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Assurance Supervisor/Manager.

Qualification & Experience

Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Science Laboratory Technology.
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in quality assurance.

Skills & Attributes Required

Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP).
Strong analytical skills for handling large data sets.
Effective communication and report writing abilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills to lead and manage a team.
Ability to work independently and with diverse teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Flexibility to work extra hours when required.
