Responsibilities of the Human Resource Officer

As a Human Resource Officer at Groupe Sebastien, your primary responsibility will be managing HR activities and ensuring seamless personnel operations. Your duties will include:

Personnel Management:

Organizing and maintaining complete and accurate personnel files for all employees.
Drafting and distributing employment contracts and other HR-related correspondence.
Handling payroll details and promptly resolving any related issues.
Ensuring confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.
Staying updated with the Ghana Labour Act and ensuring compliance.
Regularly updating employee information in the HR database.
Creating and maintaining accurate employee records in HR software.
Monitoring employee attendance to align with company policies.
Overseeing work schedules to ensure efficient allocation of employees across shifts.
Preparing and submitting timely HR reports to the Head of HR.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar HR role.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the human resources lifecycle.
Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Tools.
- Exceptional people management and teamwork capabilities.
- Efficient time management and strong work ethics.
