Responsibilities of the Human Resource Officer
As a Human Resource Officer at Groupe Sebastien, your primary responsibility will be managing HR activities and ensuring seamless personnel operations. Your duties will include:
Personnel Management:
- Organizing and maintaining complete and accurate personnel files for all employees.
- Drafting and distributing employment contracts and other HR-related correspondence.
- Handling payroll details and promptly resolving any related issues.
- Ensuring confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.
- Staying updated with the Ghana Labour Act and ensuring compliance.
- Regularly updating employee information in the HR database.
- Creating and maintaining accurate employee records in HR software.
- Monitoring employee attendance to align with company policies.
- Overseeing work schedules to ensure efficient allocation of employees across shifts.
- Preparing and submitting timely HR reports to the Head of HR.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the human resources lifecycle.
- Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Tools.
- Exceptional people management and teamwork capabilities.
- Efficient time management and strong work ethics.
