Job Description

As a cashier at Manigold Engineering Ghana Limited, your main tasks will include:

  5. Redeeming Stamps and Coupons: If customers have stamps or coupons, you’ll redeem them to give them the benefits they’re entitled to.
  6. Cross-Selling and Providing Information: You’ll also be promoting and introducing new products while assisting customers and resolving their concerns.
  7. Greeting and Keeping Things Tidy: A warm greeting when customers enter or leave the store sets a positive tone. It’s also your job to keep the checkout area clean.
  8. Tracking Transactions: Accurate record-keeping is a must. You’ll track transactions and report any discrepancies.

Qualification Required & Experience

To qualify for this cashier position, you should have:

  • Work Experience: Previous experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar sales role.
  • Tech Skills: Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment like cash registers.
  • Math Skills: Good math skills to ensure precise transactions.
  • Communication and Time Management: Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Customer-Oriented: A mindset focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Education: A diploma, HND, or degree.
