Job Summary

The Credit Risk Analyst (CRA) will be responsible for analyzing loan applicants’ data, evaluating risks, and facilitating assessments via digital platforms such as WhatsApp and Zoom. The CRA will report directly to the Credit Risk Manager and the Head of Credit Monitoring and Evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Risk Evaluation and Analysis: Analyze financial data and assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants.
• Communication and Facilitation: Coordinate assessments and correspondence between sales executives and clients.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Oversee credit research initiatives to identify non-performing loans and alert management.
• Process Optimization: Improve credit processes to optimize results and ensure compliance with credit policies.
• Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual credit review reports for management.
• File Management: Ensure proper documentation and organization of soft and hard copy records.
• Compliance Checks: Conduct random credit checks and monitor portfolios to ensure compliance.
• Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks as required by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Banking.
• Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
