MTN Ghana is seeking a highly motivated Analyst, Carrier Operations to oversee daily operational activities related to wholesale national roaming, value-added services (VAS), voice, and SMS. This role plays a key part in achieving our wholesale revenue and cost targets within a dynamic and competitive telecommunications industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain partnerships with telecom carriers and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing with carriers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations and issue resolution.
• Oversee provisioning, activation, and deactivation of carrier services.
• Ensure carrier circuits and services meet performance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to manage network capacity and scalability.
• Optimize carrier routes and configurations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor carrier expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations and standards.
• Support audits related to carrier services and operations.
• Provide financial reports and forecasts related to carrier expenditures.
• Communicate carrier-related updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with NWG, IT, Regulatory, and RAFM teams to meet operational goals.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Minimum of a first degree in a commercial or technical discipline.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in roaming, carrier operations, or a related wholesale business.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of billing systems (interconnect billing preferred).
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in a telecom business function.
