Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement ESG strategies for ARB Apex Bank and RCBs.
- Perform regulatory, risk management, and compliance reporting on sustainability policies.
- Conduct materiality assessments to evaluate financial and environmental impacts.
- Oversee the Ghana Sustainable Banking Principles implementation.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
- Train and sensitize rural and community banks about ESG compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address sustainability gaps and opportunities.
- Prepare reports for boards, regulators, and development partners.
Required Qualifications – Are You a Fit?
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field or professional accounting qualification (ICAG, ACCA, CIMA).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in ESG data management, audits, or sustainability consulting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and data analytics tools.
- At least 3 years of experience in data verification and sustainability reporting.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting software.
- Deep understanding of sustainability frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional communication and report-writing skills.
- Experience working with development finance institutions or similar sectors.
