BRUTALITY DENY BY GHANA ARMY FORCE

There are several brutality videos circulating on social media and websites evidencing how some GAF maltreating citizens because of enforcing COVID-19 lockdown in Ghana. This “BRUTALITY DENY GAF” allegation was tantamount against Ghana Armed force which is abbreviated as “GAF”, as the cause of the brutality videos against the civilians.

The rapid spread of the Conora Virus made the government of Ghana to pronounce a 14-day partial lock-down of the country. This directive was announced by the president of Ghana his Excellency N. A. D. Akuffo Addo to mitigate the spread of the deadly diseases COVID-19 in Ghana. The Ghana Armed Force (GAF) has support fully from the fumigation period till now also doing there best to enforce the law.

BRUTALITY DENY BY OFFICERS

Apparently, Col E. Aggrey-Quashie once said in press statement saying that, there are several trending videos circulating on social media. These videos false because even most of the occasions did not occur in Ghana. He added by saying his guys are well trained and professionals to exhibit to brutalize civilians. The military army is assisting the police the have a 14-day successful lock-down in Tema, Kumasi, Kasoa and Accra.

Nevertheless, Investigation proves that those videos were fabricated videos just to tannish the image of the Ghana Army. Also, the fake background voice over edit to suite the video.

Later On, Wednesday, April 1 2020, Brigadier General Abraham Yeboah N. also added his views about the alleged circulating videos brutality videos. He explains that there is only incident that the officer acted unprofessional. The officer involved in that act is now in the custody of the military police for immediate and reasonable treatment.

Additionally, all those videos circulating are incidence which occurred some years ago which has no relation this current COVID-19 exercise. Also, those materials are deliberately designed by some people with the aim of casting bad light on Ghana Armed Force (GAF)

Finally, from the above updates Ghana Armed Force (GAF) has proved beyond doubts that they are innocent of the viral videos circulating on social media.
