Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has vowed to strip Martin Amidu naked. The popular businessman and politician have indicated that after the inauguration of President Nana Addo, he will turn his focus on Mr Amidu. Mr. Amidu is the former Special Prosecutor for the country.
Mr. Agyapong revealed on NET 2 television that, NDC should b careful about Mr Amidu. He continued by saying the former prosecutor planned with Rawlings to make sure Mahama loses the election. By this means Mr Amidu and Zanetor will take over the party after Mahama’s defeat.
“You, Martin Amidu, wait for Akufo-Addo to be sworn into office first. The way I will strip him naked…the plans he had against NDC. The NDC should be careful.”
The Assin Central MP was against the appointment of Mr Martin Amidu as the Special Prosecutor. Martin Amidu has hold the offices of Attorney General and Minister of Justice prior to his appointment
The politician said the appointment of Mr Amidu was a looming disaster about to explode. He said the appointment could scuttle the fortunes of the party in future. Mr Agyapong raised these red flags about the former S.P because Mr Amidu is a known member of the NDC. The Assin Central MP was at loss why members of the NPP was applauding the appointment of the former S.P.
Mr Agyapong revealed that Martin Amidu will soon come after the very party that appointed him. He described Mr Amidu like Circuit Training based Animal Flow Workouts. He said said train the animal and one, one day it will attack and kill its owner. The MP made these revelations on Adon TV last year January during a panel discussion.
Kennedy Agyapong added Ghanaians want Mr Amidu so he will not comment on it again.
