

Match week one saw Aduana Stars beating Accra Hearts of Oak 2-0 at Dormaa in an outstanding match. Ashantigold on the other hand, trashed King Faisal 5-1 in Obuasi in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday afternoon.

Accra Hearts of Oak travelled to Dormaa after their 3-0 triumphant over Dreams FC over the weekend. However, the Dormaa Fire boys beat the Phobians 2-0 in their GPL week one outstanding match.
Hoping to become the top scorer of the league, forward Yahaya Mohammed opened the socre. He scored in the 43rd minutes of the game to take his scoring tally to three goals in three games.
In the early 47th minute inside the second half, Prince Acquah gave Aduana Stars’ their second goal. This goal made it hard to come back into the game. Accra Hearts of Oak has won only one game in this season of GPL.
It is now two defeats in five games for the Phobians. Left back Raddy Ovouka missed the chance to score a consolation goal. Hearts of Oak was handed a ninety-minute penalty but the left back squandered the opportunity.
The Fire boys have moved on level points with Hearts of Oak. But ahead of Hearts of Oak because head-to-head. Aduana is seventh on the league table while the Phobians are 8th in the league.
The miners trashed King Faisal 5-1 in their match week three match against King Faisal. Ashgold has won two games in a row with good score lines after drawing their opening two games.
Isaac Opoku Agyemang and David Abagna Sandan scored two goals in the frist half. While Kwame Preprah scored a first half consolation for the visitors. Opoku Agyemang scored a goal in the 59th minute of the but his third goal was allowed.
Yaw Annor a winger scored the last goal for the miners. Scoring in the 83rd minute and 92nd minute, Ashantigold finished the game with a 5-1 victory.
