The town of Kasoa Iron City is mourning the tragic death of Gideon Adu-Boakye, a Ghana Prisons Service officer stationed in Nsawam. According to reports, Gideon left home on Sunday, but he did not return. Worried by his absence, his family reached out to the Ngleshie Amanfro police, prompting a search. On Monday, his body was discovered, with accounts indicating that he cried out for help, identifying himself as a prison officer, but the mob failed to listen.
