Welcome to the Ghana Gas Scholarship Application Guidelines

Are you a Ghanaian student with a passion for learning but lacking the financial means to pursue your higher education dreams? The Ghana Gas Scholarship scheme might just be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Designed to support academically gifted yet financially disadvantaged students, this scholarship program is open to both male and female individuals pursuing Undergraduate Degree/Higher National Diploma (HND) programs in tertiary institutions across Ghana. To assist you in navigating the application process effectively, we’ve compiled comprehensive guidelines below.

Personal Details/Background

As you embark on your journey to apply for the Ghana Gas Scholarship, make sure to have your personal details and background information ready. This includes a recent passport-size photograph to be uploaded along with your application.

Educational Background

Your educational history plays a crucial role in your scholarship application. Ensure you have the necessary certificates or result slips on hand, including:

  • Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE)
  • Senior High/Technical/Vocational school examination certificate
  • Admission letter from your tertiary institution of study

Essay Requirement

Crafting a compelling essay is an integral part of your application process. Your essay, not exceeding 200 words, should outline your career objectives and articulate why you deserve to be awarded the Ghana Gas Scholarship.

Applicant Employment History

If you’re currently employed, provide details of your employer, including name, address, and contact information. Additionally, submit your current payslip as part of your application.

 

Endorsement

To validate your application, it must be endorsed by a reputable individual. You can choose to have the endorsement section downloaded and endorsed by any of the following:

  • Clergy/pastor
  • Legal practitioner
  • Chief or senior civil/public servant

Ensure to upload the endorsed document along with your application.

Verification

Finally, verify your identity by providing one of the following forms of identification:

  • Ghana card
  • Birth certificate
  • Passport

Applicants must ensure that all uploaded images are less than 200kb, and all uploaded files are less than 1Mb.
