GES Announces Three District-Level Job Vacancies

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced three job vacancies in the Afadzato South District, calling on interested and qualified individuals to apply before October 25, 2024. These vacancies were outlined in an official letter from the Afadzato South District Education Directorate on October 1, 2024.

Available Positions

The following positions are open for application:

  1. IPPD Officer
  2. Agriculture, Science, and Environment Officer
  3. Research and Record Officer

1. IPPD Officer – Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for the IPPD position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a professional graduate teacher with a grade of AD I or above.
  • Age limit: 50 years.
  • Must have a background in accounting, mathematics, or statistics.

2. Agriculture, Science, and Environment Officer – Qualifications and Requirements

Qualified applicants for this role must:

  • Be a professional graduate teacher with a grade of AD II or above.
  • Age limit: 45 years.
  • Hold a minimum degree in science.

3. Research and Record Officer – Qualifications and Requirements

The Research and Record Officer position requires applicants to:

  • Be a professional graduate teacher with a grade of AD II or above.
  • Age limit: 45 years.
  • Have a background in mathematics and science.
  • Possess a satisfactory work history, good conduct within GES, and be computer literate.

How to Apply for GES Vacancies in Afadzato South District

Interested candidates who meet the specified qualifications and hold a strong work record are invited to apply by submitting the following documents in duplicate:

  • Curriculum vitae
  • First appointment letter
  • Last promotion letter
  • Personal record form
  • Sealed confidential report from their head of institution

Applications should be addressed to the District Director, GES, Afadzato South District, Ve-Golokuati. The deadline for submission is Friday, October 25, 2024.

Note for Applicants Outside Afadzato South: Candidates from other institutions should route their applications through their respective heads of institutions. Include your contact details in the application for easy communication.
