About the Position

Bolt Ghana is seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to oversee a portfolio of grocery and retail partners. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving the growth and adoption of Bolt’s Grocery/Retail solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage key enterprise contacts in the grocery/retail sector in Ghana.
  • Negotiate and close strategic partnerships to enhance Bolt’s market presence.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with business partners through multiple channels.
  • Provide support during onboarding, address operational issues, and enhance customer experience.
  • Analyze key performance metrics to drive growth, optimize marketing strategies, and boost revenue.
  • Oversee budgeting and assess performance indicators to track business objectives.
  • Develop operational plans to streamline business activation in alignment with commercial strategy.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, product, customer success, campaign, partner operations, and customer service teams to drive business expansion.

About You

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business development, account management, B2B sales, or a similar role in the grocery/retail sector.
  • Fluency in English and the local language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities to engage decision-makers and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, using data-driven insights to enhance partner performance.
  • Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to navigate challenges and devise effective solutions.
