The Fulbright Scholarship for the year 2025 is now accepting applications. It is a prestigious opportunity for Pakistani students to pursue fully funded Masters and PhD degrees in the United States.

Financial Benefits

• The scholarship program is funded by the Department of State and managed by the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP).
• All expenses related to the scholarship, including tuition fees, required textbooks, airfare, a living stipend, and health insurance, will be covered.
• USEFP also provides assistance with the visa process, easing the journey for selected participants.
• The Fulbright Scholarship is open to applicants from all countries, but in Pakistan, it is specifically managed by USEFP.

Study Fields

• The Fulbright Scholarship is available in all fields except clinical medicine, ensuring a wide range of academic disciplines for Pakistani students to explore.

Eligibility Criteria

For the Master’s degree Program:

• Applicants must have a four-year Bachelor’s degree or a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, totaling 16 years of formal education.
• The degree should be obtained from an accredited university.
• Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• MBA students are eligible to apply, but they should possess at least 2 years of work experience.

For the PhD degree Program:

• Applicants must have a four-year Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree, totaling 18 years of formal education.
• The degrees should be obtained from accredited universities.

Fulbright GRE Requirements for Pakistani Students

• All applicants are required to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE General).
• Under the new scoring system, applicants must achieve a minimum score of 145 on each section of the GRE examination.

TOEFL OUT, Duolingo IN

• For the Fulbright Scholarship application, the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is not required this year.
• Instead, the Duolingo Test of English will be required from all shortlisted candidates.
