About AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana)
AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited, Obuasi Gold Mine is currently near completion of the redevelopment phase to become a modern, efficient and long-term profitable operation. The underground mining operation has been fully mechanized and designed to produce up to an average maximum of 5,000 t/day of ore mined.
1. Graduate Mining Engineer at AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited
Qualification
- Sc./Diploma in Mining Engineering or equivalent
Experience
- 1-year post-graduation experience in mining or projects
2. Laboratory Technologist at AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited
Qualification
- Minimum of HND Lab Technology/Technician certificate or equivalent Experience
- 1 – 2 years in a commercial lab, petrochemical products manufacturing company, oil & gas industry, pharmaceutical industry, or in a mining related on-site oil lab
Legal Requirements
- MINCOM Inspecting Engineer Certificate of Competency
3. CIC Technician – Underground at AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited
Qualification
- Secondary education level
- Certificate of successful completion of respected CIC trade apprenticeship (example: City and Guilds) preferably an apprenticeship in electronics repair for communications, instrumentation
Experience
- Electronics/instrumentation maintenance technician with 5+ years’ experience in, preferably, industrial instrumentation and controls
- Familiarity with the Ghana Minerals and Mining (Health Safety and Technical) Regulation
