UPSA Hostel Application Procedures for 2024/2025

The University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA) has opened the application process for hostel accommodations for the 2024/2025 academic year.

The management of UPSA has outlined the procedures for students interested in booking a spot in the university’s hostels. Students who wish to stay in the UPSA Hostel should carefully follow the provided guidelines.

Important Information for Continuing Students

All continuing students planning to stay in the University’s hostels for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year should take note of the following:

  1. Booking and Payment: Hostel bookings and payments are for one semester only.
  2. Hostel Availability: Hostels A, B, and Amon Kotei will be open for booking starting from Wednesday, July 24th, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
  3. Payment System: Payments must be made through the new UPSA Fees Information System (UFIS). More details are provided in section 1.6 of the guidelines.
  4. Payment Deadlines:
    • Levels 300 and 400: Payment is due by Friday, August 23rd, 2024.
    • Level 200: Payment is due by Friday, September 6th, 2024.
    • Beds not paid for by these deadlines will be reassigned to other students.

Check-In and Registration Information

  • Level 300 & 400 Degree Students: Check-in starts on Sunday, September 1st, 2024, at 2:00 PM. The deadline for check-in and registration is Friday, September 13th, 2024. Failure to register by this date will result in the loss of your bed.
  • Level 200 Diploma and Degree Students: Check-in starts on Saturday, September 28th, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The deadline for check-in and registration is Friday, October 4th, 2024. Failure to register by this date will result in the loss of your bed.

Important Notes

  1. Do Not Book If Uncertain: If you do not plan to stay in the hostels, do not book a spot. Booking automatically generates a bill, which you will be required to pay.
  2. Student Level Clarification: The levels mentioned refer to students who are currently in levels 100, 200, and 300.

Registration, Verification, Login, and Payment Processes

  1. Registration:
    • All students must register on the Hostel Management System platform.
    • Ensure you are registered on the USIS platform before attempting to register for a hostel.
    • Keep your email and phone number active and accessible, as login and verification credentials will be sent via email.
