POSITION: CHIEF BUDGET ANALYST FOR REGIONAL COORDINATING COUNCIL (REGIONAL BUDGET ANALYST)
JOB PURPOSE: To lead budget preparation and management in the Local Government Service.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Advise on cost implications and financial decisions.
- Coordinate budget preparation.
- Assist in fee-fixing resolutions.
- Participate in procurement planning.
- Contribute to Regional and District Planning Coordinating Units.
- Develop staff capabilities.
- Appraise direct reports.
- Undertake assigned tasks.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s Degree in Administration (Finance), Social Sciences, Economics, or relevant field.
- Minimum 15 years in Local Government Service or comparable Public Sector organization.
- At least 6 years in Senior Management.
- Member of a recognized professional body.

- Public Financial Management.
- Leadership and Managerial skills.
- Facilitation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Monitoring and evaluation skills.
